How do I download my book?

After purchasing, you'll receive:

1. Instant download link on the success page
2. Email confirmation with your download link (check spam/junk folder if not received)

📖 EPUB Ebook Instructions

iPhone/iPad (Apple Books)

1. Download the .epub file
2. Tap "Open in..." or "Share"
3. Select "Books" (Apple Books app)
4. Book will open automatically

Android Phone/Tablet

1. Download the .epub file
2. Install a free reading app:
   • Google Play Books (recommended)
   • Moon+ Reader
   • PocketBook Reader
3. Open the app and import the .epub file
4. Start reading

Kindle E-Reader or Kindle App

1. Download the .epub file to your computer
2. Send to Kindle (easiest method):
   • Email the .epub file to your Kindle email address (e.g., yourname@kindle.com)
   • Kindle will automatically convert it
   • Book appears in your Kindle library within minutes
3. Or use USB transfer:
   • Convert using Calibre (free software)
   • Transfer to Kindle via USB cable

Find your Kindle email: Amazon account → Content & Devices → Preferences → Personal Document Settings

Computer (Windows/Mac/Linux)

1. Download the .epub file
2. Open with:
   • Apple Books (Mac) - built-in
   • Calibre (free app for all platforms) - calibre-ebook.com
   • Adobe Digital Editions (free)
   • Microsoft Edge browser (Windows)

🎧 About the Audiobook

The audiobook is currently being updated with new content from the revised edition of the book.

If you'd like access to the current audiobook version while we work on the update, please email help@mdelacroix.com and I'll send you a download link.

The audiobook is professionally narrated with a British accent and available as an M4B file compatible with all devices.

I didn't receive my download email

The download link isn't working

• Make sure you're clicking the full link (check if it's broken across lines in email)
• Try copying and pasting the link into your browser
• Contact support if it still doesn't work

I lost my download or need to re-download

• Save the file to cloud storage (Google Drive, Dropbox, iCloud) for safekeeping

What file format is the book?

EPUB for the ebook (works on most devices including iPhone, Android, Kindle, and computers)

Audio files for the audiobook (compatible with all devices and audio players)

The file won't open on my device

• Make sure you have an EPUB reader app installed
• The file should be named: Why_Submissive_Women_Are_Happier.epub
• Try opening with a different app from the recommendations above

📕 Is there a print/paperback version?

Yes! The paperback is available on Amazon for $17.99 USD.

🌍 Is this available in other languages?

French (Québécois) translation coming soon!

The book will be translated to French Canadian/Québécois. Join our newsletter to be notified when the French version is available.

Will I get updates if the book is revised?

Yes! If we make significant updates or corrections to the book, we'll notify all purchasers via email with instructions on how to download the updated version.

What will appear on my credit card statement?

Depending on how you purchased:

• From this website (Stripe): Shows as MDELACROIX BOOK
• Amazon purchases: Shows as AMAZON or AMZN

Is my purchase secure?

Yes. All payments are processed securely through Stripe. We never store your credit card information — it goes directly to the payment processor.

Autofill isn't working / Payment won't go through

If your browser's autofill (yellow fields) doesn't work with the payment form, try:

1. Use Apple Pay or Google Pay — one-tap checkout, bypasses the form entirely
2. Type your card number manually — instead of using autofill
3. Clear the field and retry — click inside, press backspace, then try again

This is a security feature of payment forms, not a decline. Your card is fine!

What do you do with my email/data?

We only use your email to:

• Send your download link
• Send the newsletter (if you opt in)
• Notify you of book updates
